  1. Day 1

    Depart Cairns

    Board your ship for a 5:00pm departure to Trinity Bay enjoying a drink as the sun sets.

  2. Day 2

    Cooktown and Great Barrier Reef

    This morning discover historic Cooktown with buildings dating back to the 1870s. This afternoon visit one of the remote uninhabited islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Join the Marine Biologist for a glass bottom boat tour, or snorkel over the colourful coral gardens and discover some of the 1,500 species of tropical fish that call the reef home.

  3. Day 3

    Lizard Island, Reef and Snorkelling

    Wake this morning moored beside beautiful Lizard Island. Snorkel over the reef with its giant clams and a profusion of tropical fish. This afternoon cruise to Ribbon Reef No. 9, a spectacular and seldom visited part of the reef with more snorkelling opportunities

  4. Day 4

    Spectacular Ribbon Reefs

    Spend today visiting two of the most spectacular sections of the reef, Ribbon Reef No. 3 and Rachel Carson Reef. Explore the coral gardens and marine life with guided snorkelling and glass bottom boat tours.

  5. Day 5

    Cairns and Thetford Reef

    This morning enjoy time to explore Cairns at your own or join an included visit to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park for a taste of indigenous culture before reboarding Coral Expeditions II to depart to an exclusive Great Barrier Reef mooring at Thetford Reef and Sudbury Cay. Take a glass bottom boat trip, watch the marine biologist hand feed the fish and snorkel over the colourful coral gardens and amongst the 1500 species of fish that live here.

  6. Day 6

    Hinchinbrook Channel and Pelorus Island

    This morning cruise the Hinchinbrook Channel one of the areas most diverse marine environments. Watch for crocodiles, dolphins, turtles and dugongs which feed on the plentiful sea grasses. Spend the afternoon discovering the private tropical paradise of Pelorus Island. Enjoy a gourmet beach BBQ and explore the island’s rainforest on a guided nature walk. Pelorus’ fringing reef off ers fantastic snorkelling, including a giant clam garden. See colourful corals from the glass bottom boat or join an instructor on a guided SCUBA dive, or simply relax on the beach.

  7. Day 7

    Dunk Island Rainforest and Nathan Reef

    Join naturalist guides on a rainforest walk discovering Dunk Island’s unique flora and fauna. Watch for the Blue-Winged Ulysses Butterfly and up to 100 species of native birds. After lunch discover Nathan Reef’s colourful coral gardens. For the ultimate Great Barrier Reef experience, accompany the dive instructor on a SCUBA dive. Relax on the sun deck before your farewell dinner and a final night on the Great Barrier Reef.

  8. Day 8

    Fitzroy Island and Cairns

    Travel ashore to explore Fitzroy Island; surrounded by a reef it offers wonderful bush walking opportunities and idyllic white sandy beaches. Enjoy lunch on board as you cruise back into Cairns for a 13.30 arrival.

Coral Princess and Coral Princess II are designed for cruising the delicate environment of the Great Barrier Reef, accommodating up to 50 passengers in comfort. Facilities include a sun deck, spa pool, Wi-Fi, cocktail bar, dining room, lounge, gift shop, open bridge, snorkelling and dive centre and library. Breakfast and lunch are buffets; Australian inspired dishes are on the dinner menu (buffet or table d’hôte), accompanied by Australian wines.

Take part in guided snorkelling with marine biologists or join an instructor for an introductory SCUBA dive. Select from four grades of accommodation each with air-conditioning and en-suite facilites. Cabins have twin beds and portholes; Staterooms are larger with twin or double bed and large picture windows; Upper Deck Staterooms are larger still, whilst Deluxe staterooms are the largest
