  1. Day 1

    Port Lincoln - Kangaluna

    You will be met at Port Lincoln Airport at 08:45 by your tour leader. Visit a colony of wild koalas at near Port Lincoln before travelling Wudinna for lunch. Pass Wudinna Rock as you travel into the outback to Kangaluna Camp in the Gawler Ranges. This afternoon begin your wildlife experience; expect to see three species of kangaroos as well as emus and many birds. Enjoy drinks and a bush dinner, then gaze at the star studded skies, a wondrous sight. (L, D)

  2. Day 2

    Lake Gairdner

    Visit an ochre pit on the way to spectacular Lake Gairdner, its glistening white salt pan set in the red landscape; walk on the surface of the lake and see the endless white plain and the striking red surrounds and islands. The red dunes along the lake hold many animal tracks, flowers in spring, interesting vegetation and birds. Then drive through a changing landscape of volcanic rock formations 1600 million years old and teeming with wildlife; look for emus and red, western grey and euro kangaroos as you drive to Kangaluna Camp.   3. Day 3

    Baird Bay

    Early morning drive to Baird Bay for an unforgettable wildlife experience cruise. On the 5 kilometre journey to Jones Island you can watch Bottlenose dolphins ride the bow wave of the boat, and join these magnificent mammals in shallow water. Cross the bay to visit a resident colony of rare Australian sea lions and experience playing face to face with these agile and friendly mammals as you wade in protected shallow lagoons. After lunch on the beach visit Venus Bay, Elliston and enjoy magnificent coastal scenery on the journey to Port Lincoln airport where your tour ends at 5pm. (B, L)
