Tropica Island Resort
Luxury Resort
Tropica Island Resort nestles into Na Toba O Lakalaka, a private sheltered bay on the beautiful island of Malolo. Facing West and offering breath-taking sunsets and views over nearby islands of the Mamanuca archipelago, Tropica is an intimate, boutique resort created especially for adults.
Tropica is the ideal location for some of the island’s best snorkelling, scuba diving and water sports. Take a guided trip or snorkel right off the beach. As a protected marine sanctuary, Tropica enjoys a large number and a wide variety of fish - you won’t need to venture far to enjoy the beautiful butterfly fish. Choose to do as little as much as you like in paradise, but don’t miss the chance to try the spa where they make you feel a million miles away from the stress and worries of everyday life. It has been said that ‘what sets Tropica apart is the heart and soul of the staff and the ambience of their home’ – we couldn’t agree more.

Sleep
Elegant accommodation sits either beachfront amongst swaying palms and lush tropical gardens, or the new Sanctuary villas sit up a slope behind the restaurant with their own plunge pools and sea views. All the superbly appointed villas feature indoor and outdoor showers and a minifridge, many also have their own plunge pool. Slip into total relaxation as you soak up the sun in the fresh water infinity pool overlooking the azure waters of the pacific, or sip on a cocktail as you lounge in the sunset bar watching magical sunsets before dining in the sea view restaurant.
There are four room categories at Tropica. The Beachfront Bures and Beachfront Pool Bures are all located absolute beachfront, only metres from the water. Sanctuary Pool Suites are located seconds from poolside and the central facility and are built into the hill accessed by a gentle incline. All room categories include a complimentary American breakfast daily, nightly turndown service and once daily replenished bottle water.
Eat
Passionate about food, Tropica's executive chef has created a menu best described as Fijian fusion in style. A unique blend of traditional Fijian flavours and ingredients and using local produce wherever possible culminating in a culinary delight. International cuisine and themed buffet nights are also on offer.
