Day 1 : Vancouver

Vancouver is ranked as the third most liveable city in the world; it combines city-life with mountain culture and a laid back beach vibe. Cycle in Stanley Park and explore historic Gastown. Board your ship this afternoon and settle into your cabin as you get ready to leave Vancouver.

Day 2 : Inside Passage

This is the scenic waterway that reaches 1000 miles from beautiful British Columbia to historic Skagway, Alaska. Through a maze of bays, straits, arms and fjords you’ll cruise past an ever-changing panorama of unspoiled beauty… cascading waterfalls, virgin forests and majestic glacier-carved fjords.

Day 3 : Icy Strait Point

Go whale watching, learn Tinglit tribal customs or fly high above Port Frederick on a zip-rider. Later, tuck into the ultimate halibut and chips at the Hoonah Packing Company cannery.

Day 4 : Hubbard Glacier (Cruising)

Hubbard Glacier is a highlight of your trip. Cruise past the largest calving glacier on the North American continent, the sheer size of this alone will take your breath away. Hubbard Glacier calves off icebergs as high as 10-story buildings and sends blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes, don’t forget your camera.

Day 5 : Juneau

Alaska’s capital city was born in the gold rush of 1880. Today it is the scenery and fauna that is the town’s fortune with wild mountains, fjords and glaciers dominating. Wildlife is abundant – you may spot humpback and killer whales, sea lions, porpoise, eagles and deer and the majestic Mendanhall Glacier is close by.

Day 6 : Ketchikan

The name ‘Ketchikan’ comes from the native language word for “Where the eagles meet”. Much of the town’s colourful past is still in evidence, like the world’s largest collection of totem poles, staring out to sea. Experience Eden firsthand, kayak saltwater fjords fringed by forests and keep an eye out for black bears and porpoises. Tour the great outdoors by foot, bike or zipline today in the town of Ketchikan.

Day 7 : Inside Passage

A day cruising the Inside Passage, as you pass dramatic scenery and head back to the vibrant city of Vancouver. Today is also a chance to indulge on the onboard facilities and activities; perhaps head to the Canyon Ranch Spa and enjoy one of the relaxing treatments, take in the beautiful views from the Rooftop Terrace or simply find a quiet corner to catch up on your latest book.

Day 8 : Vancouver

You will arrive back into Vancouver early morning, enjoy one last breakfast onboard before you finish your Alaskan adventure upon disembarkation of the ship. Why not add a few nights in Vancouver to extend your stay, our team will be happy to arrange this for you.
