Tour the UNESCO world heritage sites of Old and New Quebec City and feel the mists while taking in the natural wonder of Niagara Falls. Walk the hallowed grounds of Gettysburg, the most decisive battle the American Civil War and get an up-close taste of Amish culture at a traditional farmhouse museum in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. See the seat of power of American Government with a grand city tour of Washington, D.C. and troll the National Mall witnessing its iconic Monuments and Memorials. Drive along picturesque byways crossing the Great Smokey Mountains then go Honky Tonkin’ and enjoy American music during a tour of Nashville. Take in more American music culture walking down Beale Street in Memphis, home of the Blues, before you get a hands-on taste of Southern charm of the American South at the Bellingrath Estate and the Bayou Boardwalk. Dip your toes in the crystal clear and warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Pensacola in the Sunshine State before relaxing in the holiday playground of Orlando, then witness first-hand the ingenuity of the American space programme at the Kennedy Space Centre.

Day 1 : New York

Arrive in New York City and transfer independently to your hotel where you will meet with your Tour Director.

Hotel: The Dylan Hotel

Day 2 : Boston

Depart New York for historic New England. Travel along the Long Island Sound to Boston. Enjoy a walking tour along the Freedom Trail and the cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill, steeped in history, which contains one of the city’s most beautiful neighbourhoods.

Hotel: Courtyard by Marriott Boston Brookline

Day 3 : Québec City

This morning travel through the rural New England states of New Hampshire and Vermont on your way to Canada. You’ll cross the international border to enter the Canadian province of Québec.

Hotel: Hotel Universel

Day 4 : Montréal

Begin the day with a tour of Québec City, the French capital of the province and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may want to enjoy a delicious pastry, baguette or candy treat or, if time allows, may we suggest a visit to Rue du Tresor before departing to Montréal. Upon arrival, go on a tour of Old Montréal, the area known as the “Vieux Port”.

Day 5 : Toronto

Depart Montréal for the capital of Canada, Ottawa. In the afternoon, continue along the 1,000 Islands Parkway to the largest English-speaking city in Canada, Toronto, located on the shore of Lake Ontario.

Day 6 : Niagara Falls

Begin the day with a drive through Toronto’s impressive collection of modern skyscrapers. Continue along Lake Ontario, crossing the Welland Canal, before arriving at Niagara Falls, where you will be amazed at this natural wonder.

Day 7 : Amish Country

Today ride through the rolling farmland of upstate New York, known as the Finger Lakes Region, and enter the Keystone State of Pennsylvania. This afternoon visit the historic Gettysburg Civil War National Battleground, site of the largest battle ever fought on American soil. Travel along the Susquehanna River to Amish Country.

Day 8-9 : Washington, D.C.

Travel through rural countryside to Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Visit an Amish Museum and see their 300-year old tradition of simple living (admission included). In the afternoon, continue to
the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. Enjoy a city tour with such highlights as the U.S. Capitol Building, the F.B.I. Building, Lincoln Memorial and the White House. Enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 10 : Roanoke

Depart this morning for Williamsburg, Virginia’s colonial capital. Walk along the Duke of Gloucester Street to visit some of the impressive public buildings, colonial houses and the college of William and Mary. (admissions not included).

Day 11 : Gatlinburg

Travel along portions of Blue Ridge Parkway before an afternoon arrival in Gatlinburg, the heart of Tennessee.

Hotel: Edgewater Hotel & Conference Center

Day 12 : Nashville

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Continue through Knoxville to Nashville.

Hotel: Inn at Opryland

Day 13 : Memphis

Travel across the countryside and arrive in Memphis, the city known for blues music, cotton and home of Sun Records. Take a city tour including Beale Street, the heart of the blues music scene.

Hotel: Crowne Plaza Memphis Downtown

Day 14-15 : New Orleans

Today’s tour takes you to Mississippi, the Magnolia State. Pass through Jackson, the state capital, and continue to Louisiana and New Orleans. Tonight, perhaps immerse yourself in Creole culture on board an authentic Mississippi Riverboat dinner cruise and enjoy the rhythms of a Dixieland jazz band (optional). Day 15 is at leisure to take in the French flavour and grandeur of New Orleans.

Day 16 : Pensacola

Travel along the Mississippi Gulf Coast through Mobile, Alabama to the city of Pensacola. Visit one of the top 10 rose gardens in America at the Bellingrath Home (admission included).

Hotel: Courtyard by Marriott / Hampton Inn

Day 17-18 : Orlando

Travel along the Florida panhandle to Ocala, known for thoroughbred horse ranches. Continue through central Florida, heart of America’s citrus industry, and on to Orlando, America’s family playground. Day 18 is at leisure. Revitalize by the pool or visit one of Orlando’s attractions such as Disney World or Universal Studios (admissions not included).

Hotel for 2 nights: Grand Hotel Celebration

Day 19 : Miami

Visit Kennedy Space Center, home of America’s space program (admission included). Continue to the cultural melting pot of vibrant Miami Beach.

Hotel: Hilton Garden Inn Miami South Beach

Day 20 : Miami

Transfer independently to the airport for your return flight.
