Canada’s Capital, Ottawa, is a hub for culture and history and is home to seven national museums that recount the tales of the country’s colourful past, and the winter skating on the Rideau Canal is world famous.

Day 1 : UK - Toronto

On arrival in Toronto make your own way to your hotel for a three night stay. The remainder of the day is free to explore. Toronto has it all: from a lively cultural scene and animated districts to some of the world’s greatest attractions. From the moment you arrive, you’ll discover that Toronto is one of the most dynamic, energetic and creative places on earth, one of the world’s most vibrant and welcoming cities.

Day 2 : Toronto

Join a hop on / hop off city tour of Toronto this morning to see everything the city has to offer. Be sure to visit the CN Tower (included) and if you’re brave enough stand on the transparent glass floor and look down to the city 550 metres below.

Day 3 : Niagara Falls

Enjoy a full-day sightseeing excursion to Niagara Falls. Marvel at the spectacle of the famous Niagara Falls in the frozen winter and walk behind the falls to see the ceiling of ice. Pass through the historic community of Niagara-on-the-Lake before returning to Toronto for the evening. Lunch included.

Day 4 : Toronto - Ottawa

Take the VIA Rail train to Ottawa, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day in the National capital.

Day 5 : Ottawa

The day is free to explore on your own; highlights include the Rideau Bytown Museum, Byward Market, the Parliament and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. And perhaps join the locals for a skate on the canal (weather dependant).

Day 6 : Toronto

Take the VIA rail train back to Toronto for a final evening.
 

Day 7 -8 : Toronto - UK

Your tour ends when you check out of your hotel and make your way back to the airport to board your flight to the UK.
