Day 1 : UK - Vancouver - Whistler
Arrive Vancouver then you will be transferred to your Whistler hotel where you will check in for your 7 night stay.
Day 2 : Whistler Free Day
Today is at leisure to immerse yourself in the electrifying alpine ambience of this well-known resort, a hotspot for skiers, hikers and nature-lovers, set in the lofty surrounds of the Coast Mountains.
Day 3 : Whistler Exploring with Peak 2 Peak Gondola Ride
Today board the longest and highest lift in the world for an unparalleled perspective of British Columbia’s rooftop –Spanning the distance between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, the new world record-breaking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is a breathtaking, 4.4 kilometre journey to infinite possibilities. Redefining the Whistler summer experience by creating limitless new ways to get up-close-and personal with the mountains, this engineering marvel breaks three world records. Also, visit the Peak to Peak Viewing Gallery, a raised walkway that gives you the opportunity to see the gondola’s engineering and inner workings.
The Peak 2 Peak Experience includes:
• One trip up both the Whistler Village Gondola and the Peak Chair or one trip up Blackcomb
• Rides on the various open-air chairlifts and gondolas, including the world-record breaking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola
• Access to over 50 km of hiking, running and interpretive walking trails
Day 4 : Whistler at leisure
Today is free for you to take your time and explore this alpine village, nestled in the Coastal Mountain range and surrounded by the soaring peaks of the Blackcomb and Whistler mountains. Why not your hand at mountain biking, horseback riding or a round of golf.
Day 5 : Whistler Bear Viewing
Up to 50 Black bears live amongst ski area habitats along with deer, coyote, ruffed grouse, red-tailed hawks, barred and great horned owls, and western hoary marmots. Riding in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle, explore the area’s diverse forests, meadows, and stream environments. Take short walks to bear feeding sites, daybeds, rub trees, and old growth trees where bears have hibernated during the winter.
Day 6 : Free Day Whistler
Think of Whistler and you may think of skiing and snowboarding, but this pretty alpine village has gained a reputation for attracting visitors because of its quaint village, excellent cuisine and friendly cafés. Today is yours to discover this amazing village at your own pace.
Day 7 : Glacier Floatplane
After a short 5 minute transfer from Whistler Village to the floatplane base at Green Lake, you will take off and fly directly over Garibaldi Provincial Park for the Spectacular Glacier Tour. Passengers will experience an inspiring view of this natural preserve of volcanic peaks with its glaciers, snow covered mountains, turquoise lakes and alpine meadows. The flight concludes with views of the ski runs, Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains and Whistler Village.
Day 8-9 : Whistler - Vancouver - UK
Today is the end of your holiday, you will be transferred to Vancouver to board your flight back to the UK.
