Day 1 : Johannesburg

Day 2 : Mpumalanga

Leaving Gauteng, travel through Mpumalanga via the Panorama Route, stopping at the third largest canyon in the world, the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes at the confluence of the Blyde & Treur Rivers, God’s Window and the town of Graskop along the way.

Day 3 : Mpumalanga

An early starts today to experience Kruger National Park in a closed vehicle to seek out the Big Five. This internationally renowned game reserve of nearly 2 million hectares supports the largest variety of wildlife species on the African continent. Day 4 : Eswatini (Swaziland)

This morning depart for the Kingdom of Eswatini (Swaziland). Visit an authentic Swazi village and have the fantastic opportunity to gain an authentic knowledge of traditional Swazi culture and watch some traditional dancing.

Day 5 : St Lucia and Surrounds

Journey into Zululand, where ancient traditions and modern cultures of both Zulu and Settler have combined into a vibrant society living in peace and harmony. Arrive this afternoon in the iMfolozi area for your overnight stay near Hluhluwe.

Day 6 : Durban

Take an optional morning boat cruise (own expense) on the UNESCO listed St. Lucia estuary to view the hippo and crocodile or simply relax before heading off later in the morning to Durban via an orientation tour of the city. 

Day 7 : Drakensberg

Head into the majestic Southern Drakensberg Mountains, visit the 300 foot high Howick Falls, arriving at your hotel mid-afternoon. Your afternoon is at leisure. 

Day 8 : Drakensberg

Enjoy a full day at leisure in these spectacular surrounds.

Day 9 : Eastern Cape Coast

Continue south to the Eastern Cape, visit Nelson Mandela’s birth place and house, arriving late afternoon in Chinsta East.

Day 10 : Tsitsikamma

Guests awake to the sounds of the crashing waves and have the morning at leisure to unwind with beach sand between their toes. The beach stretches on uninterrupted for many kilometres and the thick indigenous beach forest is a haven for an amazing variety of birdlife. Guests set off heading south to the Tsitsikamma Forest.

Day 11 : Knysna

Continue along the Garden Route, arriving in Knysna late afternoon.

Day 12 : Mossel Bay

Travel inland, visit a working ostrich farm and explore the famous Cango Caves.

Day 13 : Cape Town

Travel Route 62 via Swellendam, Worcester and the Huguenot Tunnel arriving in Cape Town in the late afternoon. 

Day 14 : Cape Town

Enjoy a day of leisure in the ‘Mother City’. Explore this beautiful city or join an optional day tour (additional expense) to Cape Point or the Cape Winelands.

Day 15 : Cape Town

This morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel by 11am. The remainder of the day will be at leisure until your transfer to Cape Town International Airport.
