Job Title: South and Central America Specialist
Business Area: First Class Holidays 
Location: This role is based out of our office in Manchester - Trafford House, Old Trafford, Manchester, M32 0RS. Accessible via train/tram, bus and car (Free Parking). However, we offer a hybrid approach of working with a mixture of home-working and office-working.

The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable individual with a real passion for South and Central America. If you have experience designing tailor-made long-haul holidays to this destination and love turning travel dreams into reality, we want to hear from you. Previous experience working for a retail travel agent or long-haul tour operator is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed itineraries to exactly suit the customers’ requirements (both telephone and email enquiries). Source varied ground arrangements with overseas suppliers, ensuring your itinerary meets the client’s requirements. Liaising with agents and clients at various stages of the quotation process. Use various web-based systems to check the live availability of products. Process bookings on our in-house system. Maintaining excellent customer service throughout.

About You:

We are looking for a positive individual with experience and passion for selling tailor-made long-haul holidays. Previous experience working for a retail travel agent or long-haul operator would be an advantage.

Skills & Experience:

  • A strong travel background with knowledge of South and Central America.
  • Experience in planning and selling tailor-made holidays.
  • Proven track record in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working to and achieving sales targets.
  • Familiarity with GDS systems.
  • Strong computer literacy is essential.
