Safari Parks and Reserves

It all started in Kenya ‘safari’ is a Swahili word, meaning journey. Settlers of old explored its iconic parks like the world famous Masai Mara and Amboseli, with its views to Kilimanjaro. Samburu, Tsavo or Lake Nakuru are equally as good for an unforgettable safari.

Kenya's Culture

Kenya has a rich ethnic diversity, with over 40 tribes, all deeply connected by storytelling, music and the unifying use of Swahili. The better known are Maasai, Samburu, Kikuyu and the Swahili coastal communities and travelling through Kenya highlights their fascinating cultures.

Nairobi Attractions

Nairobi is the gateway to Kenya and, for most itineraries, a stopover here allows the opportunity to explore the capital. Attractions include the Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Centre. The district of Karen is rich in history and is home to the Karen Blixen Museum.

Beach Stays

Kenya’s extensive coastline is famed for its white powdery beaches, dotted with palms that lead down to the warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. The main areas are centred around Mombasa and south to Diani, whilst in the north, the most popular is Malindi.

Safari Activities

To really make the most of your Kenyan safari it’s best to combine a few safari, parks. Game drives are a must and complement these with boat trips or bush walks. For the ultimate experience, drift over the Mara in a hot air balloon.

Coastal Activities

Whilst a beach stay after a safari brings a welcome rest, there is still plenty to do for those wanting to explore and partake in something a little more active. Year round water sports for all interests and abilities are available in all areas.
