Day 1 : Seattle
Arrive in Seattle from the UK and make your way to your luxury hotel in the heart of the city. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your flight and settle into your surroundings.
Day 2 : Seattle
Enjoy a full day to discover Seattle at your own pace. The city makes a wonderful introduction to the Pacific Northwest, with a vibrant waterfront, excellent restaurants and a fascinating blend of urban and natural landscapes. You might begin at the famous Pike Place Market, exploring its food stalls, independent shops and local produce before continuing towards the waterfront. Alternatively, take in panoramic views of the city and Puget Sound from the Space Needle, visit the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum or explore one of Seattle's many neighbourhoods.
Day 3 : Coeur d’Alene
YThis morning, collect your rental car and begin your road trip eastwards. Leaving Seattle behind, the landscape gradually changes from the forests and waterways of the Pacific Northwest to the dramatic scenery of the inland Northwest. Cross into Idaho and continue to beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene, arriving in the afternoon. Settle into your lakeside surroundings and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 4 : Triple Creek Ranch
Continue east into Montana as you make your way towards the Bitterroot Valley. Your destination is Darby, home to the exceptional Triple Creek Ranch. Tucked away into the forests and mountains of western Montana, the ranch offers an intimate and wonderfully secluded introduction to the American wilderness as you settle into your private cabin.
Day 5 : Triple Creek Ranch
Today is yours to experience the unique character of Triple Creek Ranch. With the mountains and forests of Montana as your backdrop, choose from a range of activities including horseback riding, hiking, fly fishing and wildlife experiences, or simply spend the day relaxing and enjoying the tranquillity of the ranch.
Day 6 : Big Sky
As you approach Big Sky, the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, with forests, rivers and soaring peaks providing a memorable backdrop to the drive. Arrive at One&Only Moonlight Basin, set amongst the wilderness of Big Sky. The resort combines the sense of seclusion and adventure of the Montana mountains with the refined service and facilities for which One&Only is known. It opened as the brand's first US resort and sits within a vast natural landscape bordering protected land.
Day 7 : Big Sky
Enjoy a full day in Big Sky. There is plenty to choose from, whether you want to embrace the great outdoors with hiking, fly fishing or another guided adventure, or prefer to make the most of One&Only Moonlight Basin's exceptional facilities. The resort's spa provides the perfect setting for a more relaxing day, while the surrounding wilderness offers spectacular opportunities to explore Montana's mountains and forests.
Day 8 : Jackson
The drive today takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes of the American West, with the opportunity to stop along the way for photographs and to explore the scenery at your own pace. Arrive in Jackson Hole and check into your luxury hotel for the next three nights. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to explore the characterful town, browse its galleries and boutiques or simply relax at your hotel.
Day 9 : Grand Teton National Park
Today, discover the spectacular landscapes of Grand Teton National Park with your private guide. Your day will be tailored around your interests, with opportunities to explore the park's dramatic mountain scenery, pristine lakes and abundant wildlife. Your expert guide will take you beyond the obvious viewpoints, sharing their knowledge of the area's natural history and helping you make the most of the day. Keep your eyes open for moose, elk, bison and other wildlife as you explore the park, with plenty of time to stop for photographs and enjoy the scenery. Return to Jackson in the evening and enjoy dinner at leisure.
Day 10 : Yellowstone National Park
Continue your exploration of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem today with another privately guided experience. The exact itinerary can be tailored to your interests and the season, but the day might include some of Yellowstone's extraordinary geothermal landscapes alongside opportunities for wildlife viewing and discovering some of the park's lesser-known corners. With a private guide, the day can be paced around you, allowing time to stop when the scenery demands it, enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness or spend longer watching wildlife.
Day 11 : Park City
Arrive in Park City in the afternoon and check into your hotel. Once a historic silver-mining town, Park City is now known for its sophisticated restaurants, galleries and mountain atmosphere. Spend the evening exploring the charming historic Main Street, perhaps stopping for dinner at one of the town's excellent restaurants.
Day 12 : Salt Lake City departure
Return your car at the airport in Salt Lake City ahead of your departing flight.
