Day 1&2 : UK - Park City (33 miles)
Arrive at Salt Lake City Airport and collect your rental car. Spend the next 2 nights in Park City – a year-round alpine paradise known for its world-class skiing and lively arts scene. Wander historic Main Street or take a scenic lift ride to discover the mountain trails.
Day 3 : Jackson (264 miles)
Depart Park City today for the drive to Jackson as you watch the peaks turn to desert landscapes. The drive blends historic highways and dramatic alpine views with small town charm. Arrive in Jackson- the gateway to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks which is your base for the next 3 nights.
Day 4 : Yellowstone National Park
Leave Jackson early this morning to explore Yellowstone. Drive through the South Entrance to complete the Southern Loop. Sights include Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring and the Fairy Falls Trail with chances of seeing elk, bison and bears on your drive. Return to Jackson this evening
Day 5 : Grand Teton National Park
Another day of scenic driving lies ahead if you wish to explore Grand Teton National Park, with the Visitor Centre just half an hour from the town. Plan to spend around 6 hours driving around the park today, or relax in the town of Jackson.
Day 6&7 : Salt Lake City (288 miles)
Drive back to Salt Lake City and return your car at a downtown location. Spend 2 nights here in the city known for its world-class dining, shopping and rich pioneer history
Day 8 : Canyon Spirit – Moab
Board Canyon Spirit today and journey through Utah’s Wasatch Mountains until you reach the vivid red landscape of Moab. Spend the evening at your Moab accommodation or explore the town.
Day 9 : Canyon Spirit – Glenwood Springs
Another day of luxury train travel awaits as you journey to Glenwood Springs, Colorado, passing magnificent geological wonders on the way.
Day 10 : Canyon Spirit – Denver
Cross the Continental Divide through the Moffat Tunnel. The red rock turns to the Rocky Mountains as you arrive into the mile-high city of Denver for a 2-night stay.
Day 11 : Denver
Explore Denver today, the perfect blend of city energy and mountain charm.
Day 12 : Depart Denver
Continue to Montgomery, Alabama’s capital. Visit the Rosa Parks Library and Museum, Rosa Parks, a 42-year-old seamstress, sparked the modern civil rights movement by taking a stand and
keeping her seat on a city bus. Visit the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church and see the pulpit where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., first preached his message of hope and brotherhood. End the day in Birmingham.
