Day 1 : UK - Brisbane
Board your flight from the UK to Brisbane.
Day 2-3 : Brisbane
Welcome to Brisbane where you will be met and transferred to your city centre hotel for a 3 nights stay.
On day 3, board a popular scenic river cruise this morning to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary a "must do" experience while in Brisbane. The cruise travels through the city's most historic landscapes, iconic attractions, historical homesites and interesting wildlife habitats as you listen to an entertaining and informative commentary. Enjoy 3 hours exploring Lone pine, before re-joining the cruise for a relaxing return journey on the river back to the city.
Day 4 : At Leisure
Take the day to explore the city at your own pace. Maybe join a guided walking or a guided climb to the summit of Brisbane’s heritage-listed Story Bridge.
Day 5&6 : Tangalooma Island Resort, Moreton Island
This morning you will take a transfer by coach and ferry to Moreton Island for a 2 night stay. Located on the stunning Moreton Island (Mulgumpin), the resort is the perfect destination for families, couples and adventurers looking to escape to a relaxed unique island stay. Activities, bookable locally, include guided snorkelling trips on historical shipwrecks, Desert Safari Tours and whale watching (seasonal).
Day 7 : Gold Coast
Return back to the mainland where you will collect your vehicle and drive south for a 6 nights stay on the Gold Coast. This is a destination not to be rushed with a perfect blend of activity and relaxation.
Day 8 : At leisure
Take your time today to explore one of the many Gold Coast markets for a unique shopping experience, one of our favourites is the twilight market located at Surfers Paradise.
Day 9 : Gold Coast Activity Day
Take the morning ferry back to Urangan Harbour and travel north towards Bundaberg. Perhaps you will take a late afternoon sundowner cruise at one Queensland’s best kept secrets.
Day 10 : At leisure
Thrill seekers may choose to visit one of the theme parks, Dreamworld or Wet ‘n’Wild Culture seekers may prefer a morning walkabout tour to learn about the Aboriginal history and culture of the Gold Coast.
Day 11 : Hot Air Ballooning
An early start today, take to the skies to witness incredible views of the golden beaches and Gold Coast skyline as the sun begins to peak out from the horizon.
Day 12 : Evening Rainforest & Glow Worm Experience
This evening you will head away from the beach and experience an exciting nighttime tour with stargazing; delicious dessert and a fully guided rainforest walk to the waterfall. With the knowledge of your guide, discover the lush forests of the Mount Tamborine National Park and spot native nocturnal wildlife. At the end of the trail emerges Curtis Falls, a subtropical waterfall and habitat to the stars of the show, the ever fascinating, glow worms.
Day 13&14 : Lamington National Park
Time to leave the Gold Coast and drive to the contrasting Lamington National Park where you will stay for 2 nights. Days can be spent on rainforest walks or spotting bird or wildlife. In need of some pampering?, recharge and connect in the spa or celebrate the simple pleasures of life with a vineyard lunch platter.
Day 15 : Brisbane
A short drive today back to Brisbane for your final night in the Sunshine State.
Day 16-17 : Brisbane - Arrive UK
Return your vehicle this evening to Brisbane airport before your flight back to the UK.
