Your Itinerary
Day 1-2 : UK - Sydney
Board your flight from the UK to Sydney.
On arrival you well be met and transferred to your accommodation for a 3 nights stay. Australia’s largest and arguably most popular city immediately conjures up images of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House, yet this vibrant city has much more to offer. From the Botanical Gardens and stunning beach walks to cycle tours and easy access to the haze of the Blue Mountains and wine region of the Hunter Valley.
Day 3 : Sydney Sightseeing and Harbour Cruise
Join a small group Sydney sightseeing tour this morning, visit the historic Rocks area and hear of early convict history before continuing to Mrs Macquarie’s Point to enjoy magnificent views of the harbour. You will continue to the famous Bondi Beach and feel the sand between your toes. This afternoon embark on a 2 hour lunch cruise to gain a difference perspective of the city.
Day 4 : Sydney BridgeClimb
Your morning is at leisure. As the day closes and the night begins you will join a guided tour to the summit of Sydney Harbour Bridge. Experience panoramic 360-degree views whilst your experienced guide shares captivating stories about the Bridge. If you would rather experience something less physical, ask us about a scenic flight over the harbour for a birds eye view.
Day 5 : Port Douglas
This morning you will be transferred to the airport for you flight north to Cairns. On arrival collect your vehicle and take a short drive north to Port Douglas, gateway to two world-heritage listed natural wonders, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Forest. Check in to your accommodation for 4 nights stay.
Day 6 : Great Barrier Reef Cruise
Cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef. Visit Agincourt Reef, here you will find special reefs known as ribbons which run parallel to the Continental Shelf. Clear water provides the best possible underwater visibility, encourages rich coral growth and supports spectacular marine life. Snorkelling equipment is provided, qualified divers or guests wishing to book an introduction to scuba diving is available, on request. For those wishing to stay dry, why not add on a helicopter flight or visit the semi-submersible for coral viewing.
Day 7 : At Leisure
Today is yours to explore the village, take a sunset walk on Four Mile beach, a tropical paradise.
Day 8 : Daintree & Cape Tribulation
Your full day tour starts as you head further north along the scenic route via Mossman to Cape Tribulation. Travel to the majestic Daintree River, where you will stop to enjoy an informative river cruise. Ascend the Alexandra Range and experience the rainforest on an elevated National Park Boardwalk as you search for the elusive, rare and totally unique Southern Cassowary and other wildlife species. Stop at Cape Tribulation Beach, where there is time for a short stroll along the beach and boardwalk to the photographer’s platform overlooking the mountains and coast where the 'Rainforest meets the Reef. Return south, crossing the Daintree River by cable ferry and return to Port Douglas.
Day 9 : Atherton Tablelands
Head south to your unique stay for the next 2 nights. Take in the quaint village of Yunggaburra, the landscape here is spectacular. Your stay is in a private tree house complete with a veranda showcasing stunning mountain views. This tropical mountain retreat offers peace and relaxation.
Day 10 : At Leisure
Today is yours, tie those shoelaces and explore the nature surrounding you, we recommend Malanda Falls for a beautiful rainforest walk, Mamu Tropical Skywalk for an elevated immersive tour through the rainforest canopy or head to Granit Gorge in search of Rock Wallabies.
Day 11 : Mission Beach
Time to drive back towards the coast as you head south, you may wish to stop at Milla Milla Falls en-route to cool down. This evening will find you beachside in Mission Beach for 2 nights.
Day 12 : At Leisure
Simply relax by the pool or take a walk along 8 miles of beautiful white sandy beach.
Day 13 : Cairns
Today head back towards Cairns where you will stay for 2 nights.
Day 15-16 : Cairns – Arrive UK
Return your vehicle to Cairns airport before your flight departs back to your chosen UK airport.
