Stand in awe of Wave Rock rising unexpectedly from the inland plains, try your hand at gold prospecting in Kalgoorlie, and feel the vastness of the red desert in Alice Springs. Your adventure ends in Darwin and Litchfield National Park, where cascading waterfalls and tranquil waterholes paint a perfect photograph backdrop.

Day 1 : Depart UK

Board your flight from your preferred UK airport.

Day 2&3 : Fremantle

Arrive in Perth where you will be met and transferred to Fremantle for a 2-night stay. Included is a 2-hour guided walking tour. This is no ordinary city tour but one of fascinating story telling, wander through “Freo’s” vibrant cappuccino strip and narrow West End streets.

Day 4 : Hyden “Wave Rock” (208 miles)

This morning collect your vehicle and drive to Hyden, known best for “Wave Rock”. This spectacular rock formation is shaped like an ocean wave, with dazzling colours of the ancient granite.

Day 5,6&7 : Esperance (240 miles)

Continue your journey south to Esperance for 3 nights where you will find pristine coastal scenery and some of Australia’s whitest sand beaches. We recommend you visit Lucky Bay in Cape Le Grand National Park where kangaroos sunbathe on the beach. Hiking trails, wildlife viewing and pink lakes are all within easy reach.

Day 8&9 : Kalgoorlie (240 miles)

Next stay for 2 nights is Kalgoorlie where you will find Australia’s largest open-cut gold mine at the Super Pit. Take a historic town tour including the iconic facades of Kalgoorlie's gold rush era architecture and pub culture.

Day 10 : Merredin (162 miles)

Your final night before heading back to Perth is Merredin. Stretch your legs on a short circular route for panoramic views across the Wheatbelt plains and stunning sunsets. Historians may wish to visit the Military Museum showcasing the area's WWII history.

Day 11 : Perth (162 miles)

Continue back to Perth for your final evening in Western Australia.

Day 12&13 : Alice Springs

Return your vehicle to Perth airport and board your internal flight to Alice Springs for 2 nights stay. Day tours are in abundance from historical sites such as The Telegraph Station and The Flying Doctors Service or visit Desert Park and meet the local wildlife adapting to their desert surroundings.

Day 14&15 : Darwin

Swop the red desert sands as you fly north to Darwin for 2 nights. We have included a full day tour including a 10-minute helicopter flight, 45 mins airboat ride and river cruising in search of crocodiles. Set within a safari camp, a BBQ lunch and a dip in the pool. This is your “Top End” experience in a day.

Day 16&17 : Litchfield (58 miles)

Collect your vehicle this morning for a self-guided tour of Litchfield National Park. This is a park filled with misty waterfalls, waterholes and Lost City rock formations.

Day 18 : Darwin (58 miles)

Take a leisurely drive back to Darwin. We have included a hotel for you to refresh before you drop your vehicle at the airport for your early morning flight.

Day 19-20 : Depart Darwin

Board your flight back to the UK.
