Day 1 : UK – Perth

Depart the UK for Perth.

Day 2 : Perth

On arrival make your way to your hotel for an overnight stay before continuing your journey.

Day 3 : Darwin

From Perth fly north to Darwin, capital of the Northern Territory. This is where incredible sunsets and fabulous Asian food markets meet Aboriginal culture, crocodile encounters and outstanding national parks. On arrival collect your rental car and make your way to your hotel for a 2 night stay.

Day 4 : Kakadu National Park

Spend today on a guided tour of Kakadu National Park, World-Heritage wonder and epic in every sense of the word. Marvel at rock art sites that date back 20,000 years, search for Saltwater crocodiles, cruise the Yellow Water Billabong and see the impressive array of birdlife which the park is renowned for.

Day 5 : Katherine

From Darwin it’s a 3 ½ hour drive to Katherine, home to the Nitmiluk National Park and your base for tonight, Cicada Lodge. Part of the Jawoyn Association, Cicada offers just 18 rooms overlooking the native bushland. Take boat or canoe tours into Nitmiluk Gorge and immerse yourself in the authentic cultural experiences available.

Day 6 : Darwin

Return to Darwin for a final night in the Top End. The Mindle Beach Markets at sunset are a must for all visitors. Browse the delicious food carts before settling on the sand to watch the vivid tropical sunset.

Day 7-8 : Alice Springs

Fly south to the Red Centre today, and the township of Alice Springs. With a 2 night stay there is ample opportunity to explore the attractions of the town including the Alice Springs Telegraph Station, Royal Flying Doctor Service and School of the Air.

Day 9 : Uluru

A schedule coach transfer will take you to Uluru this morning. This is one of Australia’s most recognisable landmarks, a vast monolith rising from the flat desert landscape. Late afternoon, join an evening sunset tour for a front view seat to one of mother nature’s most colourful spectacles. A BBQ dinner is also included.

Day 10 : Uluru

Rise before dawn to see the magnificent Field of Light installation, by renowned artist Bruce Monroe before making your way to the sunrise viewing platform as the light starts to change and the sun rises in the distance behind Uluru. The rest of the day is free to explore as you please.

Day 11 : Alice Springs

An afternoon transfer will take you back to Alice Springs for a final night.

Day 12 : Perth

At Galvans Gorge there is time for a swim at a pretty waterhole, before heading for your next wilderness lodge for a 2 night stay. Stay: Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge (B,L,D) 

Day 13 : Perth

Today is free to explore at your own pace. Perhaps head to Rottnest Island or Fremantle, or one of the city beaches for a relaxing day in the sun.

Day 14 : Departure

Make your way to the airport for your onward flight.
