Within this region lies, four National Parks, the famous Percé Rock and the St. Lawrence River – one of the best Whale watching sites in the world! Québec alone is home to 13 different species of this incredible animal including, fin whales, belugas and blue whales, the largest animal to live on earth.

There are many driving routes to take to enjoy Québec to the Fullest. Beginning in Baie-Sainte-Catherine, ‘The Fjord Route’ will see you travelling along the remarkable Saguenay Fjord. This road trip will take from 1 to 2 days and includes some impressive stops along the way including, Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park, Musée de la Nature, the Musée du Fjord, Saguenay Fjord National Park. Take a break in some of the national parks and mingle with its inhabitants like the bears, beavers, caribou and moose that roam the area!

5. Visit one of many National Parks

Québec boasts 30 National Parks, all different and unique. One of these highlights include the Parc National du Mont-Tremblant, covering over 580 square miles, here you will see a myriad of wildlife includes wolves, moose and deer. In the summer the mountain becomes an extensive zip line network where you can admire the beauty of it all above the canopy. Another well-known National Park is the ‘Forillon National Park’, this park offers an incredible landscape shaped made up of impressive mountains, colourful meadows with an abundance of wildflowers and steep cliffs overlooking the ocean.
