Your Itinerary
Day 1 : Vancouver
On arrival in Vancouver, make the short journey from the airport to your downtown hotel.
Day 2 : Inside Passage Cruise
Board your cruise today at Canada Place Cruise Terminal, within easy reach from your downtown hotel. Unpack just once as you cruise for the next 7 nights along the Inside Passage, to the last frontier of Alaska.
Day 3-8 : Cruising with Holland America
Back on board you’ll travel into the snowy peaks of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Pass by Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 metres (12,972ft), before entering Jasper National Park. Arrive in Jasper early evening.
Day 9 : Vancouver
Disembark this morning and head to your Vancouver hotel for a 3-night stay.
Day 10 : Vancouver sightseeing
Spend the day at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, walk among the lush rainforest and walk the bridge 70 metres above the river for a taste of British Columbia’s wilderness. Return to the city and take one of the water taxis over to Granville Island, home to the famous market where you can try local delights and shop for unique souvenirs.
Day 11 : Vancouver
A free day to explore Vancouver.
Day 12 : Rocky Mountaineer – Kamloops
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer today through the Fraser Valley and Fraser Canyon, past Hell’s Gate where you will watch the water cascade past the canyon’s walls. On leaving the Fraser Canyon, follow the Thompson River to Kamloops where you will spend the evening in a hotel.
Day 13 : Rocky Mountaineer – Jasper
Today you leave the Rockies behind, check out of your hotel and take the scheduled transfer to Calgary Airport or your downtown hotel. Your tour ends on arrival.
Day 14 : Jasper
Enjoy the day in the mountain town of Jasper. Included is a scenic float trip on the Athabasca River.
Day 15 : Lake Louise
Depart Jasper by coach today along the Icefield Parkway, dubbed one of the most scenic drives in the world. Enjoy an included Ice Explorer ride on the Athabasca Glacier and visit to the Glacier Skywalk, before arriving at your Lake Louise hotel for a 1-night stay.
Day 16 : Banff
Depart Lake Louise mid-morning for a short drive via the scenic Bow Valley to Banff. After checking in at your hotel the remainder of the day is free to wander the boutiques, bars and restaurants dotted along lively Banff Avenue.
Day 17 : Banff
Depart Lake Louise mid-morning for a short drive via the scenic Bow Valley to Banff. After checking in at your hotel the remainder of the day is free to wander the boutiques, bars and restaurants dotted along lively Banff Avenue.
Day 18 : Calgary departure
A coach transfer will pick you up at your hotel for the 2 hour drive back to Calgary Airport.
