Your Itinerary
Day 1 : Depart UK - Arrive Montréal
On arrival into Montréal airport a private transfer will take you to your hotel for a 2 night stay.
Day 2 : Montréal
The island city of Montréal was once a tiny village in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, now it is the second largest French speaking city in the world. To travel in Montréal is to discover the French-speaking metropolis of North America. With French inspired elegance and a lively café and nightlife culture, it has a joie de vivre you’ll find nowhere else. Ride in a horse drawn carriage over the cobbled streets in old Montréal, see exquisite architecture, indulge in fine dining, discover the city’s history at one of many local museums and galleries, and shop in the 18 mile network of connected shopping outlets. Montréal has it all. A guided walking tour of Old Montréal is included.
Day 3 : Québec City
Depart Montreal aboard a VIA Rail train headed for Québec City. On arrival make your way to your hotel for a 2 night stay.
Day 4 : Québec City
Spend the morning on a heritage walking tour, discovering the charms of Québec City. As Canada’s oldest city and the only walled city north of Mexico, it’s known for its cobblestone streets, historic stone buildings, and French-speaking charm—especially in Old Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It feels like stepping into a European storybook. This afternoon head out along the banks of the St. Lawrence River to Wendake on the outskirts of the city. Your included discovery excursion features a visit to the Huron-Wendat Museum and its brand new permanent exhibition, Ekionkiestha National Longhouse; Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Church and the Fresco of the Nation.
Day 5 : Ottawa
The last stop on your journey along the St. Lawrence River is Ottawa, Canada's capital city. Sit back and relax as you travel by VIA Rail and watch Eastern Canada pass by the window. On arrival in Ottawa make your way to your hotel for a 3 night stay.
Day 6 & 7 : Ottawa
Ottawa, Canada’s capital, is a scenic, and easy going city that blends national history with a relaxed pace. Explore Parliament Hill, stroll along the Rideau Canal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and visit world-class museums like the National Gallery or Canadian Museum of History. The city has a refined feel, with leafy neighbourhoods, riverside paths, and a strong food scene.
Day 8 : Depart Ottawa
Make your way to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
