Day 1 : Whitehorse

Welcome to the Land of the Midnight Sun. Make your way to your downtown hotel for a 2-night stay before you begin exploring the pristine wilderness surrounding Whitehorse.

Day 2 : Whitehorse

Enjoy a day at leisure in Whitehorse, where you can explore charming cafés, local shops, museums, or scenic riverside trails at your own pace. Whether you choose to relax or discover the city's unique northern culture and beautiful landscapes, the day is yours to enjoy.

Day 3 : Haines Junction

Today’s guided Yukon River tour begins in downtown Whitehorse. Leave the city behind as the current starts to pick up and the channel begins to widen. The powerful Yukon River has shaped the landscape over the last few thousand years, providing significant habitat for birds, fish, large predators and semi-aquatic mammals. Return to Whitehorse to collect your car hire and drive to Haines Junction where you will check in at Mount Logan Eco Lodge for 3-nights.

Day 4-5 : Haines Junction

Over the next few days, experience the sunrise over the Kluane mountains and spend evenings relaxing at the cozy lodge savouring dinner. Located a scenic drive from Whitehorse, this is the gateway to exploring Kluane National Park and the surrounding wilderness. Guides can craft your Yukon experience from summer hikes and tranquil paddles for an unforgettable stay. (Activities not included in package cost, payable locally).

Day 6 : Tok

Drive north along the shores of beautiful Kluane Lake and look for Dall sheep grazing on mountain slopes. Your journey continues on the famous Alaska Highway to Tok. Included today is a flightseeing tour of this vast landscape climbing over huge glaciers towards the mountains of the St. Elias region. Your in-flight guide will help identify mountains and glaciers in conjunction with commentary from your pilot as you soar above the peaks. Spend the night in Tok.

Day 7 : Dawson City

The Top of the World Highway (please note this is a partly gravel road) brings you through spectacular backcountry and gold mining areas. When the highway reaches its highest elevation incredible views into far-reaching countryside open up. Before you reach Dawson City, you’ll cross the Yukon River by the ferry. Check in for a 3-night stay in Dawson City.

Day 8-9 : Dawson City

Over your two full days in Dawson City, the heart of the Klondike Gold Rush, two experiences are included. First join an interpretive driving tour to the summit of the Midnight Dome, high above the city with sweeping views of the Klondike and Yukon Rivers, the Ogilvie Mountains and historic town. On the following day, take a trip on the famous Dempster Highway stopping at viewpoints before lunch at Tombstone Mountain. Continue on the Dempster Highway after lunch for a scenic guided hike along the North Klondike River.

Day 10 : Whitehorse

Enjoy the raw beauty of the landscape and call at the Five Finger Rapids on your drive back to Whitehorse. Return your car this afternoon.

Day 10 : Depart Whitehorse

Return your car and take your onward flight.
