Day 1 : Arrive in Halifax

On arrival in Halifax, make your way to the Moxy Hotel, a contemporary and modern hotel ideally located in the heart of the city. Once settled, it’s easy to explore nearby sights on foot. With the historic waterfront, lively pubs, and heritage buildings all close by.

Day 2 : Wine & Lunch Tour in the Annapolis Valley

Today, enjoy a delightful full-day excursion to the Annapolis Valley with Grape Escapes Wine Tours. Set amid rolling hills and coastal inlets, the region is home to some of Nova Scotia’s most celebrated vineyards. Visit a selection of wineries, sampling cool-climate wines including the province’s signature Tidal Bay blend. A leisurely lunch featuring local produce is included, served in a scenic setting overlooking the vines. Return to Halifax late afternoon with time to relax or enjoy dinner in one of the city’s fine seafood restaurants.

Day 3 : Halifax City & Peggy’s Cove Tour

This morning, join a small group sightseeing tour. Your expert local guide will lead you through Halifax’s most notable landmarks, including the historic Citadel Hill, Halifax Public Gardens, and the vibrant harbourfront. Continue along the Lighthouse Route to the picturesque fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, famous for its dramatic granite rocks and postcard-perfect lighthouse. Enjoy time to explore, take photographs, and soak up the atmosphere before returning to Halifax in the afternoon.

Day 4-6 : Baddeck

Pick up a rental car this morning and head for Baddeck, in the heart of Cape Breton Island. Set on the peaceful shores of the Bras d’Or Lake, this picturesque village is an ideal base for discovering the beauty of Cape Breton Island. Once the summer home of Alexander Graham Bell and the site of the first powered flight in the British Empire, it offers a rich mix of history, culture and natural charm. Wander its pretty streets, take to the water on a sailing trip, or enjoy a gentle walk to the striking Uisge Ban Falls. As the gateway to the celebrated Cabot Trail, Baddeck promises fresh local seafood, traditional music and unforgettable coastal views.

Day 7 : Lunenberg

Depart for Lunenburg, a jewel of Nova Scotia’s south shore and a UNESCO-listed masterpiece where candy-coloured Georgian and Victorian houses charm you around every corner. Explore the Old Town on foot, soak in tales of fishing lore at the Fisheries Museum, or glide aboard the elegant Bluenose II for a taste of maritime history.

Overnight: Lunenberg

Day 8 : Depart Halifax

After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Transfer to the airport for your return flight, or continue your Canadian adventure with an extended journey through Nova Scotia, Cape Breton, or the Bay of Fundy region.
