Day 1-2 : Vancouver

Simply a city like no other, Vancouver effortlessly combines the excitement and energy of a modern city with the invigorating appeal of the great outdoors. From spring's abundance of cherry blossoms and summer's sparkling waterfront days, through to the city's fall cultural festivals and the snowy winter wonderland on the mountain peaks, Vancouver offers its visitors year-round adventures in this laidback urban metropolis right on the edge of a spectacular natural landscape. Explore diverse neighbourhoods, decadent dining, outdoor pursuits and multicultural attractions - in Vancouver, you won't have to choose between city and nature.

Day 3 : Rocky Mountaineer

Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer through the Fraser Valley and the scenic Fraser Canyon, past Hell’s Gate where you will watch water cascade past the canyon’s walls. On leaving the Fraser Canyon follow the Thompson River to the city of Kamloops.

Day 4 : Rocky Mountaineer

Back on board you’ll travel into the snowy peaks of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Pass by Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 metres (12,972ft), before entering Jasper National Park. Arrive in Jasper early evening.

Day 5 : Japser

This fun and easy rafting / scenic float trip travels down the Athabasca River, a designated Canadian Heritage River. A Jasper National Park licensed guide will provide commentary on the human and natural history of Jasper while navigating along the same route used by the fur traders over 2 centuries ago. The guides do all the rowing while the group sits back and enjoys the ride and spectacular scenery. There is a chance of seeing various wildlife including elk, deer, moose, coyotes, wolves, eagles, ospreys, mountain sheep and bears. This trip is designed for the whole family; toddlers to seniors

Day 6 : Jasper - Lake Louise

Enjoy the wildlife, pristine lakes, and breathtaking mountain peaks along the world famous Icefields Parkway. Visit the natural wonder of the Columbia Icefield - one of the largest expanses of ice and snow south of the Arctic Circle. Step onboard an Ice Explorer for an interpretive adventure onto the Athabasca Glacier. At the Glacier Skywalk, enjoy the unobstructed view on a glass floored observation platform extending 30 metres out over the Sunwapta Valley.

Day 7 : Banff

You can see the foothills of the Rockies, snow-capped and glistening, as you leave Calgary and as you enter Canada’s very first national park you’ll come across Banff, an all year-round resort town set at the side of the Bow River and surrounded by the magnificent splendour of the Rocky Mountains. Visit the museums and galleries, Cave and Basin National Historic Site or stroll along Banff Avenue; enjoy the shopping, the restaurants and bars, and in winter, the après ski. Banff is also the perfect base to explore from - visit Lake Louise or Moraine Lake and in the Winter, you’ll find the best value ski accommodation in the Rockies.

Day 8 : Banff

A breathtaking ascent to the pinnacle of Sulphur Mountain for an awe-inspiring 360- degree panorama of sheer mountain majesty. Enjoy the interpretative hiking trails that lead along the ridge of the mountain. After an invigorating hike why not enjoy one of the two excellent restaurants at the summit

Day 9 : Banff

Today you leave the Rockies behind, check out of your hotel and take the scheduled transfer to Calgary Airport or your downtown hotel. Your tour ends on arrival.
