Your Itinerary
Day 1 : UK - Toronto
Arrive Toronto, check in at your hotel and explore the city.
Day 2 : Toronto to Niagara Falls (81 miles)
Collect your car and travel the Niagara Peninsula to arrive at Niagara Falls. We have included the Niagara Falls Adventure Pass, which offers admission to many of Niagara Falls’ most popular attractions.
Day 3 : Niagara Falls to Tobermory (186 miles)
Today head northwest to Tobermory. Here you’ll find a wide variety of outdoor activities and scenery that is absolutely breathtaking.
Day 4 : Tobermory
The day is free to explore the area. (Breakfast included)
Day 5 : Tobermory to Manitoulin Island (69 miles + ferry)
Travelling north to the shores of Georgian Bay, you’ll venture into the heart of Central Ontario and the rural town of Midland - your gateway to the picturesque 30,000 islands. Founded by pioneering Jesuits, Midland offers visitors a rich diversity of historical and natural beauty to admire. Your day will be filled visiting Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Huronia Museum and Indian Village, Huronia Historical Parks Discovery Harbour, Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre and The Martyrs' Shrine. Overnight in Midland.
Day 6 : Manitoulin Island
Your dive to Huntsville will take you through the vast lake lands of Ontario. Take some time to explore the vast wilderness of Algonquin Provincial Park, renowned for its hiking trails and canoe routes that invite you to discover the diverse beauty of the area’s flora and fauna. Overnight in Huntsville.
Day 7 : Manitoulin Island to Huntsville (228 miles)
Take some more time to explore the vast wilderness of Algonquin Provincial Park, before venturing further east to the Pembroke / Ottawa Valley region. A multicultural mosaic of English, Scottish, Polish, Irish, German, Indian, French, Greek and Chinese settlers make this a fascinating city to explore. Overnight in Pembroke.
Day 8 : Huntsville & Algonquin Park
Enjoy a scenic drive along the Québec-Ontario border and pass typical rural towns, such as Renfrew and Arnprior on your way to Ottawa for a two night stay.
Day 9 : Huntsville to Ottawa (210 miles)
Dignified and stately, Canada’s capital city balances the overwhelming presence of government with cultural variety and natural beauty. Ottawa is blessed with an abundance of attractions that will enliven your visit no matter the time of year. Bask in the city’s wealth of historic landmarks — from the iconic Parliament Buildings to the Rideau Canal — all located within its downtown core, marvel at the architectural wonders that house national museums and galleries and soak in Ottawa’s natural beauty. An included hop-on hop-off city tour will ensure you see all the sights.
Day 10 : Ottawa
Drive south this morning across rural Ontario. On your way, you will be entering the beautiful Thousand Islands region, where forested islands lie amid tranquil lakes. Take to the water and step aboard a cruise to explore the magnificent scenery of the Thousand Islands. This wonderfully lush island landscape is dotted with luxurious cottages and vast estates. The cruise will take you past Boldt Castle, Zavikon Island and Millionaire’s Row. Overnight in Gananoque.
Day 11 : Ottawa to Kingston (121 miles)
Take a leisurely drive along Lake Ontario’s shoreline to Toronto airport. Return your rental cart in time to check in for your return flight.
Day 12 : Kingston to Toronto (163 miles)
Your journey takes you back to Toronto, return your car and your tour ends. Please consider today’s driving distance when making any onward travel plans.
