Day 1 : St. John’s

Arrive in Vancouver and transfer independently to your downtown hotel for a 4-night stay.

Day 2 : St. John’s

Over the next two days explore St. John’s. On a walking tour you’ll see the signature colourful houses on Jellybean Row, and uncover quirky facts and hidden gems of the city’s history, culture and charm.

Day 3 : St. John’s

Take a two-hour tour today in search of icebergs and whales on a true Newfoundland adventure. Sail through ‘The Narrows’ and past Cabot Tower en route to Cape Spear. The waters are home to humpback whales, 12,000-year-old icebergs and watch the Atlantic puffins frolic along the coastline.

Day 4 : Halifax

Make your way back to the airport today in time for your short flight to Halifax. On arrival, transfer independently to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to wander downtown and enjoy some fresh local seafood.

Day 5 : Halifax

Today a walking tour of Halifax and the Citadel is included. Begin your walk through the Public Gardens, with highlights including the Citadel and Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. The rest of the afternoon and evening are at leisure.

Day 6&7 : Lunenburg (60 miles)

Collect your car this morning for the short drive to Lunenburg, stopping at Peggy’s Cove on the way. Later, wander the historic waterfront of this UNESCO World Heritage Site with the majority of buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Day 8 : Digby (96 miles)

Leave Lunenburg for Digby today, a charming coastal town on the Bay of Fundy. Walk the boardwalk and enjoy the friendly small-town atmosphere.

Day 9&10 : St. Andrews (110 miles including ferry)

Cross the Bay of Fundy by ferry today, one of the most dramatic tidal regions of the world. On arrival, take the short drive to St. Andrews, New Brunswick, a designated historical district offering stunning views, vibrant arts and a relaxed seaside feel. Check into your hotel for 2 nights.

Day 11&12 : Charlottetown (260 miles)

Explore covered bridges on the way to Fundy National Park. See Hopewell Rocks and the world’s highest tides, then continue to take the Northumberland Coast as you make your way to Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island. The next two nights are in the city of Charlottetown, with admission to the Anne of Green Gables House included, just a short drive away.

Day 12&13 : Ingonish (240 miles including ferry)

Cross the Northumberland Strait by ferry today as you return to Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. Arrive at Ingonish Beach for 2 nights, surrounded by rugged cliffs, forested hills and a long sandy beach.

Day 14 : Ingonish and Cabot Trail

Today is free for you to relax on Ingonish beach, or explore the surrounding Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

Day 15&16 : Baddeck (92 miles)

Just a short drive away is Baddeck, where you will spend the next two nights. On your second day here, included is a boat cruise on the Bras d’Or Lake.

Day 17 : Halifax (218 miles)

Return to Halifax today and drop off your rental car. Enjoy one last night in this maritime city.

Day 18 : Halifax Departure

Transfer independently back to Halifax airport in time for your return flight.
