Your Itinerary
Day 1 : UK – Edmonton
On arrival in Edmonton, make your way to your hotel. Known as the ‘festival city’ Alberta’s capital always has something entertaining going on.
Day 2 : Jasper
A shared transfer will take you from Edmonton to Jasper. The landscape changes as the drive progresses from flat prairie to stunning mountain panoramas. On arrival you will dropped at your Jasper hotel for a 3 night stay.
Day 3-4 : Jasper
The next 2 days are free to explore at your own pace. The Jasper National Park is a haven for wildlife, and a guided wildlife tour is highly recommended. This beautiful park is also the world’s second largest dark sky preserve and the night skies are truly spectacular.
Day 5 : Rocky Mountaineer
The next 2 days are free to explore at your own pace. The Jasper National Park is a haven for wildlife, and a guided wildlife tour is highly recommended. This beautiful park is also the world’s second largest dark sky preserve and the night skies are truly spectacular.
Day 6 : Rocky Mountaineer to Banff
Early this morning you’re journey aboard the Rocky Mountaineer travels eastwards. As breakfast is served enjoy the ever changing scenery of rocky lakeshores and high mountain passes. Highlights today include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and the iconic glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. On arrival in Banff this evening you’ll be transferred to your hotel for a 3-night stay.
Day 7-8 : Banff
Enjoy 2 days discovering Banff National Park. Perhaps take the Banff Gondola for panoramic views of the mountains, join a guided hike or wildlife tour or head to nearby Lake Louise, one of the most photographed spots in the Rockies.
Day 9 : Departure
