Your Itinerary
Day 1 : Delhi
On arrival in Delhi you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a 2 night stay.
Day 2 : Delhi
This morning, meet your local guide for a fascinating tour of Delhi, exploring both Old and New Delhi. Wind through narrow lanes by eco-rickshaw, soak in the colours of Chandni Chowk, and sample local street food. Highlights include Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, built by Shahjahan, and the striking Qutub Minar—an ancient tower that stands tall against the sky, especially beautiful as evening approaches. Day 3 : Maharajas’ Express – Agra
Transfer to the station for a 9am departure for Agra. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy breakfast as the train makes its way to Agra. On arrival transfer to the Taj Mahal for a guided tour of this remarkable monument, regarded as one of the 7 wonders of the world. Return to the train for dinner this evening. (B,L,D)
Day 4 : Maharajas’ Express – Ranthambhore
Enjoy an early morning tour of Agra Fort before returning to the train for breakfast as it departs Agra for Ranthambhore National Park. After lunch onboard embark on an afternoon game safari in the national park. Alongside the legendary tigers, the park is also home to leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles and an incredible array of birdlife. (B,L,D)
Day 5 : Maharajas’ Express - Jaipur
The Amber Fort is one of Jaipur’s most iconic landmarks. Built in the 16th century, the fort blends Rajput and Mughal architecture. Inside, you'll find ornate halls, mirrored ceilings, and intricate carvings, with highlights including the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). Lunch is served aboard the train, this afternoon is free to relax or enjoy some optional activities. (B,L,D)
Day 6 : Maharajas’ Express – Bikaner
There are optional activities this morning before and afternoon tour of the Junagarh Fort, a beautiful preserved structure built in 1589. Afterwards enjoy sundowners in the sand dunes accompanied by a barbeque dinner and traditional folk dancing. (B,L,D)
Day 7 : Maharajas’ Express – Jodhpur
Enjoy a leisurely morning, perhaps choose from some optional activities. After lunch discover the Mehrangarh Fort, enjoy a tuk tuk ride and a walking tour of the Old Clock Tower Market. This evening gather for a cocktail reception a Khaas Bagh, a beautiful heritage hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 8 : Maharajas’ Express – Udaipur
After breakfast depart for a tranquil cruise on Lake Pichola, followed be a guided tour of the City Palace and Crystal Gallery. Enjoy lunch at Fateh Prakash Palace before returning to the train. This afternoon is yours to relax or partake in an optional activity. (B,L,D)
Day 9 : Mumbai
The Maharajas’ Express arrive into Mumbai late afternoon. On arrival a private transfer will take you to your hotel. (B,L)
Day 10 : Mumbai
Your local guide will meet you at your hotel this morning for a tailored tour to explore the charms and secrets of India’s largest city. The Five Senses Tour of Mumbai as the name suggests evokes all the senses. The architectural marvels, the sounds of street life, flavours and aromas of street food, and the vivid colours of flower markets and silk emporiums. (B)
Day 11 : Departure
A private transfer will take you to the airport for your onward flight.
