Day 1 : UK - Tokyo

Board your flight to Tokyo.

Day 2 : Arrive in Tokyo

Konichiwa and welcome to Tokyo, Japan’s ultra-modern capital. You will meet your driver and be transferred to the hotel by private vehicle.

Hotel for 4 nights: Park Hotel Tokyo

Day 3 : Tokyo

Spend the day exploring Tokyo’s vibrant mix of tradition and modern life with a local guide. Begin at the peaceful Meiji Shrine, nestled in a forested area and rich in Shinto rituals. Then, dive into the buzz of Shibuya, home to cutting-edge fashion and the iconic scramble crossing. Visit the Imperial Palace’s serene outer gardens and bridges before heading to Asakusa to explore Tokyo’s oldest temple, Sensoji, and the bustling Nakamise shopping street. End the day with panoramic views of the city from the towering Tokyo Skytree.

Day 4-5 : Tokyo

Two free days at leisure.

Day 6 : Tokyo - Hakone

Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Hakone National Park, a scenic escape known for its natural beauty, art, and views of Mt. Fuji (weather permitting). Tailored to your interests, the day may include cultural sites, local crafts, and a walk along remnants of the historic Tokaido trail. A highlight of the day is a visit to the renowned Hakone Open Air Museum. After a day of exploration, your guide and driver will drop you at your accommodation in Hakone for an overnight stay.

Day 7 : Hakone - Kyoto

Check out of your hotel and meet the driver that will take you to Odawara station. Make your own way to the Hotel in Kyoto from Odawara via Shinkansen and public transportation. Free at your leisure after checking in.

Hotel for 4 nights: The Gate Hotel Kyoto Takasegawa

Day 8-9 : Kyoto

Discover Kyoto’s rich cultural heritage with a local guide as you explore some of its most iconic World Heritage Sites. Visit the stunning Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji), admire the historic architecture of Nijo Castle, and explore the grand Heian Shrine. End the day at Kiyomizu Temple, where sweeping views over the city await from its famous wooden veranda.

Day 10 : Kyoto

Two free days at leisure.

Day 11-12 : Osaka - UK

Enjoy your final morning in Kyoto before departing to the airport for your flight. Have a safe flight back home!
