BEST TIME TO VISIT PHILIPPINES

Philippines Annual Climate

The Philippines enjoys a tropical climate, with warm temperatures throughout the year. PAGASA, the Philippine weather service, broadly divides the country into a dry season from December to May and a rainy season from June to November. The dry season is further divided into the cooler months of December to February and the hotter months of March to May, although climate and rainfall patterns vary considerably between different parts of the country.

The western areas generally experience their wetter conditions during the southwest monsoon, while some eastern areas receive significant rainfall at different times of the year. The Philippines can also experience tropical cyclones, particularly between July and October, so weather conditions can vary during the wetter months.

For many of the Philippines' most popular destinations, December to April offers some of the best conditions for exploring, island-hopping and enjoying the country's beaches, with generally drier weather and calmer seas. However, the Philippines is a year-round destination, and the ideal time to visit depends on the regions and experiences you wish to include in your holiday.
