Day 1 : UK - Cape Town
Take your overnight flight from the UK to South Africa. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for a 3 nights stay.
Day 2-4 : Cape Town
From humble beginnings as a trading route refreshment station to the home of South Africa’s Parliament, a walk through the city and its museums will enable you to trace the political history, culminating in a visit to Robben Island. Its most famous citizen, Nelson Mandela, was incarcerated here for 18 out of 27 years in captivity. An entire floral kingdom is found on the Cape Peninsula; this UNESCO World Heritage site is home to 1100 indigenous species of Fynbos. Magnificent displays of Proteas in Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and spectacular views from the top of Table Mountain.
Culinary delights, influenced by the multicultural population that have made Cape Town their home can be found in simple kitchens and 5-star restaurants. Complimented by fine wines from the surrounding wine making regions, each micro-climate creating a delectable experience for the palate. The Cape and all its delights will not disappoint.
Day 5-6 : Franschhoek
Today you will be transferred to Franschhoek for a 2 nights stay.
Nestled in one of the most beautiful wine valleys in the world, Franschhoek is a mere hour's drive from Cape Town. This French influenced town has a relaxed feel and offers incredible scenery, making it an idyllic stop between Cape Town and the Garden Route. The ever popular Wine Tram provides a convenient hop-on-hop off method of visiting some of South Africa's finest vineyards.
Day 7-9 : Aquila Private Game Reserve
Time to go to Aquila Private Game Reserve for a wildlife adventure.
Aquila Private Game Reserve & Spa is located in Touws River. While the natural beauty of Cape Floral Region Protected Areas and Bokkeriviere Nature Reserve can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can head to Hex Valley Golf Club. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.
Day 10-11 : Cape Town
You will be transferred to Cape Town to spend your last 2 nights before going back home.
Day 12 : Depart Cape Town - UK
A private transfer will take you to the airport in time to check in for your overnight flight back to the UK.
