Where have you visited?
My favourite destinations to visit have been Canada for cities & nature, South Africa for wildlife & wine and Sri Lanka for some incredible cultural experiences. I have also visited Thailand, India, Georgia, Armenia, Maldives, UAE, USA. Not quite as far afield, I have travelled through lots of European Counties; Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey, and been lucky enough to visit some beautiful Caribbean Islands; British Virgin Islands, Martinique, Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, Tobago, Bequia and Puerto Rico.
Can you share a memorable travel moment or adventure?
One of my favourite travel experiences has to be an early morning hike up the Beehive above Lake Louise. Watching the world light up over the bright turquoise waters before the crowds arrive is truly breath-taking. Then on the walk down being able to say stop and chat with everyone starting out their hikes or stopped at the tearoom over breakfast.
Do you have any insider tips for first-time travellers?
Always be mindful of local customs and cultures when travelling, try to learn some of the local language before you arrive so you can show appreciation to those helping you out.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
During my free time I love to cook and try out new recipes, usually paired with a glass of wine and some good music. I enjoy being active, whether doing Yoga, Pilates, going to the Gym or just for a long walk with my dog. When possible, I will always try to combine a blend of my passions into travelling and always try to sample some local food or wine, live music, and soak up some scenery while being active.
