Day 1 : Vancouver to Whistler

Transfer from downtown Vancouver to the train station for a breathtaking rail journey along the Sea to Sky Corridor. Enjoy spectacular views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, Brandywine Falls, Mount Garibaldi and the impressive Cheakamus Canyon. On arrival in Whistler, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Whistler.

Day 2 : Whistler to Quesnel

Board the Rocky Mountaineer this morning in Pemberton, this journey will be made by motorcoach. Enjoy breathtaking and varied scenery, from the river canyons and lush farmland of the Pemberton Valley to the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon to rolling hills and vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau. Highlights include the shorelines of Anderson Lake and glacial-fed Seton Lake, sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon and the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world. Follow the banks of the Fraser River to Quesnel for your overnight stay.

Day 3 : Quesnel to Jasper

Continue eastwards following the Fraser River north to Prince George. Travel through the forest of northern British Columbia, home to plentiful wildlife, including a large population of moose. Enter the Rocky Mountain Trench where you will be surrounded by the steeply rising Rocky and Cariboo  Mountains. Continue climbing past Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, and through the Yellowhead Pass into the province of Alberta and the town of Jasper where your rail journey ends.
