One of the World's Great Rail Journeys

The world-famous Rocky Mountaineer is without doubt one of the great rail journeys, travelling through the awe-inspiring Canadian Rockies, with their towering peaks, azure glacial lakes, cascading waterfalls and stunning vistas.

Travelling only during the day so you don’t miss any of the incredible landscapes, the journey takes two days and overnights in a hotel en route. If you are looking for the most luxurious way to travel through the Rockies, look no further than the Rocky Mountaineer. Just ask for holidays including this incredible rail journey.

The Journeys

Each Rocky Mountaineer journey takes between two or three days depending on the journey so guests are only on board during the day and won’t miss any of the spectacular views. Stay overnight in either Kamloops, Whistler or Quesnel depending on whether you are travelling on the First Passage To The West, Journey Through The Clouds or Rainforest To Goldrush - see below for details of each.

The Coastal Passage journey is a spectacular one day journey between Vancouver and Seattle taking the coastal route between the cities – a must-do option when combining Canada with the USA. Each of the four journeys below offer both GoldLeaf and SilverLeaf Service options and are available in reverse.

Travel In Style

The Rocky Mountaineer provide two service options onboard the train - SilverLeaf Service and GoldLeaf Service. Both offer excellent service and experiences, with the upgrade to GoldLeaf worth the superb viewing experience it provides through the full-dome coaches. Click below for details of both options.
